E4Impact’s accomplishments in Kenya thus far involves incubated of 40 companies of which 20 received direct financial support (of which 20% are women-owned)

Since 2018, the E4Impact business incubator has supported entrepreneurship ventures in Kenya thanks to the E4Impact accelerator that set up and managed initiatives that promote the new crop of African entrepreneurs.

Certain select companies have an opportunity to catalyze social and environmental change while leveraging their good practices, know-how, and recently acquired skills. This helps contribute to the integration of social and business needs resulting in the good use of private sector resources. Project financed to the tune of  €823,000, by Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, and private financier Eni Kenya which contributed grants worth €150,000.

What does the E4Impact business incubator program look for?

Innovative products with established revenue streams. The company must have a strong entrepreneurial team and are tasked with solving a defined environmental/social impact issue.
