Five of 12 African startups will make live pitches at this month’s digital Africa Tech Summit Connects, taking place in Kigali, Rwanda. The idea here is to showcase their unique solutions to a global audience of 500 investors, corporations, and other industry stakeholders.
Africa Tech Summit (ATS) and Disrupt Africa will now cover startup focussed plenary and pitching sessions on its virtual Africa Tech Summit Connects event scheduled for 20th – 22nd October.
ATS is a virtual event in its entirety, not simply a webinar. It runs on AI-driven smart matchmaking giving startups opportunities in their online and offline businesses.
The three day course will help startups engage via various online mediums. This will drive the an exhibition of recent developments across the continent to the world of startups, fintech, ed-tech, e-commerce, agri-tech, regulation and policy, connectivity, blockchain, and investment.
Here are the 12 startups (of which the top 5 are Nigerian)
Seso Global, Vybe, Medsaf, Scrapays, Wella Health – all from Nigeria. The rest are; PayDunya (Senegal), Moja Ride (Ivory Coast), Kolute Systems (Senegal), Agro Innova (Ghana), Eneza Telecom (Kenya), Snode (South Africa), and Abiria (Kenya).
