GreenHouse Lab – the flagship accelerator programme run by Greenhouse Capital (GHC) – has announced 8 African startups to the founders-backed 2021 Fintech Accelerator. These incredible companies represent the best of the African fintech sector and are led by young tech entrepreneurs solving critical market challenges in the areas of personal wealth management, fintech infrastructure, cross-border remittances, and diaspora services.

GHC backs some of the most accomplished founders across Africa. 40% of GHC backed startups take part in the prestigious international acceleration programs such as YCombinator, 500 Startups, and Techstars post-investment.

The eight startups are Collect Africa, Payhive, ScaleX, GetEquity, Dojah, and MyInvest from Nigeria, and Chumz.io and Route from Kenya. The eight will benefit from a $10,000 direct investment from GreenHouse Capital and an additional $50,000 from the GHC Founders Fund should they get admitted to a top global accelerator after GHL.
