TechInAfrica — The annual I AM Tech (Innovative Additive Manufacturing Technology) Africa Forum & Exhibition is going to be held at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) in Sandton on October 30th, 2019. The event provides African companies who are ready to rethink their operations innovatively. The participants are also provided with the chance to experience limitless 3D printing opportunities for their businesses.
3D printing, also known as Additive Manufacturing, is the future of technology in Africa and I AM Tech – Africa is the place where experts in this field will discuss the impact of 3D technology on industries and also support companies to prepare.
The 3D printing technology has come with solutions to many problems in different fields such as housing and healthcare. 3D prototypes enable people to see fully developed homes printed in less than 24 hours in the United States. In the healthcare field, the University of Pretoria has recently conducted the first middle ear transplant in the world, using 3D-printed middle ear bones.
The first I AM Tech – Africa Forum this year will as well be an official side event of the Southern Africa Europe CEO Dialogue, a pre-eminent platform for investment between some of Southern Africa and Europe’s leading companies and business leaders. The event will take place at the Maslow Hotel in Sandton on October 29 and 30.
In the future, the I AM Tech – Africa Forum & Exhibition will become an annual event where experts and insiders showcase the latest innovative additive manufacturing and technological advances that will impact their businesses.
