Application window for Connect Lab’s Women in Business Growth Lab opens

Winners at the end of the program qualify for a $1500 equity-free grant

The Women in Business Lab is a female-focused entrepreneurship development programme run by Connect Lab purposefully to reduce the inequalities barriers affecting women in business. This is done by accelerating gender equality through business development, linkages, learning, and access to finance.

An accelerated gender equality position through entrepreneurship development that linking, learning, and access to finance. The three-month program captures early-stage startups in Nigeria and stimulates them into profitability while accelerating job creation across the continent.

The ultimate aim is to foster gender inequality and bridge the gap in Africa’s tech ecosystem. Connect Lab is fixated on youth-led ventures that are high impact-driven social enterprises while supporting Africa’s innovative entrepreneurship ecosystem through policy advocacy, entrepreneur development, and start-up investments.

Connect Lab will support 40 female entrepreneurs through the Women in Business Growth Lab spread across four programmes:

  • Co-creation and Value Proposition Bootcamp
  • Incubation Programme
  • Women in Business Deal Day
  • Growth Mentorship Exchange

Winners benefit from a network of partners, business administration support, access to mentorship from industry experts, investor funding deals, and office space.

To take part you must be a female (18-35), a founder/ co-founder/ CTO, passionate about startups, and capable of traveling to Abuja. Send in your applications here by 30th, November 2020.
