Ogooué Labs is an NGO and African Financial Company that has signed an agreement for the finance of a StartX241 Incubator program worth 250 million CFA francs in Gabon. The programme will start in December and involve 10 tech startups, recruit and train 20 entrepreneurs from Gabon in the best startup management practices. The aim is to integrate 40 young Gabonese into these startups.
The African Financial Company will further support entrepreneurial development across the Central African region. The new program will also push the distribution of tech startup products to French-speaking countries across the continent.
Sylvère Boussamba, the founder of Ogooué Labs described the agreement as the “beginning of a strategic partnership for Gabon which is launched in the digital transition.”
The StartX241 program will empower 20 Gabonese entrepreneurs and help them with digital entrepreneurship training. A strategic partnership with Hemera, an accelerator based in Bordeaux will ensure the trainees are ready for recruitment within Gabon.
