Egypt website builder Wuilt has raised a $535,000 seed round in an investment that received participation from the UK-based MENA Technology Fund, DAAL VC, and other prominent investors across MENA. This was accompanied by a follow on funding from Flat6Labs Cairo.

The new round of capital will go into deepening capabilities and expanding the footprint across Saudi Arabia. Since the 2019 launch, Wuilt has worked with several new and existing customers across MENA, offering them easy-to-use and affordable options in the launch and scaling of their digital presence in Arabic eCommerce. Wuilt serves over 300,000 users across Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Wuilt’s website was co-founded by Mohamed Hegazy, Ahmed Rostom, and Mahmoud Metwaly. The site has the necessary tools and components of professional website building at the fingertips making it easier for those with little or no web design skills to create and manage an Arabic website.

Wuilt participated in Flat6Labs Cairo Accelerator 2019 getting huge support and doubling their customer base. The startup has also taken part in MISK500 Accelerator, powered by 5000 startups as of February 2020.
