Participants receive prizes at the closing ceremony of the MTN ICT & Business Skills Training initiative

The MTN Foundation Youth initiative works to build the capacity of young people aged 18 to 35 in the ICT sector while enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial abilities. December 11 2020 marks the fourth training phase that will end with a closing ceremony held virtually. All participants who took part in the fourth phase of the programme attended.

MTN gave prizes to the most outstanding participants after presentations on tech-driven solutions were delivered by representatives of the four groups. Group 2 emerged as the winner of the entire programme. Each group member was awarded 5GB of data. The best presenter award went to Aliyu Musa Dada who received an award.

The following emerged as winners in their groups; Jude Ogbunike, Onyebuchi Okezie, and Olatunji Olatunbosun Tosin. Jude Ogbunike received the highest cumulative assessment score of the four. He also received an award.

All participants expressed satisfaction with their participation in the programme. MTN’s ecosystem partners who took part in the initiative are Google, Oracle, IBM, KPMG, Cisco, and Digital Bridge Institute.

MTNF ICT & Business Skills Training initiative targets the 18 to 35 age demographic, offering ICT and business skills that enhance their employability and entrepreneurial skills.
