Logistics booking platform MVXtransit has rebranded to MVX. This digital platform provides freight forwarding, land haulage, and custom brokerage services. MVX has a presence in South Africa, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, and Rwanda. With the launch of this new rebrand MVX will be introducing embedded trade finance services to SMEs across Nigeria.

MVX has successfully raised funding in the past from Moller Capital, Flutterwave, FlexPort, and  A.P, including participation from Launch Africa Ventures, Kepple Africa Ventures, Founders Factory Africa, The Continent Venture Partners, and Oui Capital.

Tonye Membere-Otaji (Founder/CEO) said MVXchange “fixes critical supply chain frictions in the African trade and energy industries.”He further pointed out how the previous brand identity failed to capture its products and service offerings’ nature and ambitions. This is the reason for the recent change to Merchant Venture Xpress/MVX.

MVX is building digital pipelines that connect the African continent to global trade by employing technology ensuring processes remain efficient and costs are lowered while collaborating with different partners in creating unique experiences for customers concurrently accelerating trade across Africa.
