Nigeria fintech giant Flutterave has partnered with 9 Payment Service Bank (9PSB), a Nigerian fully digital bank, to facilitate seamless financial services across Nigeria. The announcement was shared by a joint release from the two companies.

This partnership looks to create a seamless payment ecosystem that not only aggregates but simplifies transactions between merchants, banking agents, and consumers. Both parties further intend to support this drive for economic growth by empowering the SME sector, fintech entrepreneurs, and other related industries, in addition to contributing to the transformation of the informal sectors to formal ones.

In remarks shared by Branka Mracajac, the CEO at 9PSB at the MoU signing ceremony, he likened the collaboration between Flutterwave and 9PSB to an important milestone in making banking services accessible to all.

Both parties will jointly launch a series of products that enable other corporate entities, fintech, technology, and other sectors to exploit the end-to-end system for making payments, collections, and transacting for the banked and financially excluded Nigerians.
