Senegal fleet management startup Fleeti has secured a $1.1M seed round

Fleeti, a startup incubated at ESTIA that specialized in the administration of African vehicle fleets has raised over $1.1 million euros. The funds were raised from Newfund, Groupe Clim, SkalePark, Janngo, Mapinvest, and Business Angels. This funding will help the company speed up the technological development of its solutions as it expands to reach new markets.

Fleeti was founded by Iban Olçomendy and Gabriel Delerue in 2020, The startup aims to reduce fuel consumption and improve its fleet performance. The underlying technology combines embedded sensors and SaaS software resulting in simplified data collection and analysis allowing companies to easily obtain clear KPIs for their operations. Fleeti is currently deployed in three countries Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Mauritius. The fleet management startup has earned several accolades such as winning the Bask’Invest competition in 2021.

Newfund is a €250 million early-stage French seed investment fund founded in 2018 by François Véron and Patrick Malka. The fund is supported by entrepreneurs and family offices that are committed to entrepreneurial development. The top participants in the fund were Fairmarkit, Aircall, Eqinov, and In2Bones who are among the 100 active Newfund participants in 2021.
