Zoho, an India-based ICT firm has opened up a South African office in Cape Town. The company is currently recruiting local employees. Zoho is an international technology company that creates web-based business tools. Cape Town is the company’s flagship office in the continent. This announcement was revealed at its annual user conference, Zoholics South Africa.
An upskilling programme with the University of Cape Town Developer Society is currently supported by Zoho. Here students receive certification for popular Zoho apps such as Zoho Creator and Zoho CRM. The company’s Cape Town office has a training facility catering for 40 students per course.
According to the article on ITWeb, Zoho regional director Ali Shabdar, disclosed that the company moved from one employee to ten in two and a half years. The Cape Town office can accommodate 30 employees and has a training facility for a maximum of 40 people. Zoho is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary today but has maintained an SA presence since 2019 by hosting Zoholics.
