A Cairo-based cloud-based Inspection Management Software beXel.io has raised a six-figure investment round led by JH Investments Ltd alongside follow-on funding from Flat6Labs, UI Investments, and Saudi Angel Investors.
beXel, a SaaS digital cloud-based inspection management software, was founded in 2019 by brothers Ayman Abou Regeila, Ahmed Hussein, and Mahmoud Latif. The company’s inspection management software is focused on industrial services such as oil, energy, gas, and the construction industries helping service providers digitally transform their end-to-end process, go paperless, practice social distance, and drop team inspection by 60%.
beXel.io is in use in 14 countries globally, even adopted by the Saudi oil company, Saudi Aramco. Other top international players that use the software are German-based TUV Rheinland, Spain-based Applus Velosi, and TUV SUD.
Marie Therese Fam, the Managing Partner of Flat6Labs Egypt described the solution beXel is offering to multiple global industries as, “unique and offers scalability and efficiency metrics not previously attainable.” She highlighted the trust they have built with global clients, and the product’s scalability and enhancement.
Managing Partner of UI Investments, Tarek Roushdy, mentioned beXel’s “strong team, the traction it made so far, its global exposure, its huge growth potential” influenced their decision to support the company. Ayman Abouregeila, beXel co-founder and CEO described the startup as “ the 1st cloud-based inspection management software in the MENA Region.”
