A series A funding round brought in a total of $15 million for Indoor Robotics, a company that specializes in developing indoor drone technology and has recently released the TandoTM drone.

The funding round was led by Pitango and included participation from European Innovation Council Fund, Spider Capital Target Global and the European Innovation Council Fund.

Doron Ben David and Amit Moran are credited with starting Indoor Robotics in 2018.

Ben David had already left his role as Chief Technology Officer of the Space Division of Israel Aerospace Industries before he started working with Moran, who had previously held the position of Head of Robotics Innovation at Intel.

They concentrated their efforts on drones hoping to find applications for which their capabilities surpassed those of humans.

They concluded that drones would be a great addition to the security department, which has a staff turnover rate of 300 per cent, is prone to errors caused by human fatigue and error, and pays guards the minimum wage to protect valuable assets.

TandoTM from Indoor Robotics uses several sensors and their rhythms to map and move around in any indoor space. This let it go above or around any obstacles in its way, so it can protect and watch over large areas.

Doron Ben David, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Indoor Robotics said, “We re-evaluated what a drone could do and combined human-like abilities with AI tools to make next-generation monitoring and surveillance possible.”Some of the world’s best businesses and security monitoring companies are already using Tando, making a real difference in security safety and safety.

When TandoTM isn’t flying, it docks on the ceiling and acts as a camera for keeping an eye on things. Well-known companies are currently using it to monitor and protect data centres, office buildings, warehouses, malls and retail stores,

With the assistance of this funding, Indoor Robotics will be ready to construct its go-to-market strategy and enter into total production of its products. As stated by Rami Kalish, Managing Partner at Pitango, “Following the Successful Launch of TandoTM and the Team’s Shown Capability to Achieve Crucial Milestones,” We jumped at the chance to put more effort into Indoor Robotics.” “The market’s excitement about what Indoor Robotics has shown it can do has created a strong demand that investors are eager to meet.”

With the money from this round, Indoor Robotics will be able to speed up product development and give people worldwide smart indoor security.
