Be Mobile Africa, a neobank located in Canada, has announced that it would officially launch operations in South Africa to make banking services available to unbanked and underbanked individuals in the country.

Additionally, it provides banking goods for a nominal price or none at all through its mobile app.

TechCabal saw a statement that said consumers who open a Be Mobile Africa account would be able to hold, send, and receive money in USD and EUR, among other currencies.

The company also says that customers can send and receive money from anyone in the Be Mobile Africa network instantly and for free and that there will be low fees for exchanging currencies.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that we will soon offer our services in South Africa. According to Dr. Cédric Jeannot, CEO and co-founder of Be Mobile Africa, “This is a significant market for us, and we believe there is a huge opportunity for expansion.”

The company’s mobile app is available for Android and iOS smartphones, and the company has ambitions to introduce a business-to-business solution very shortly.

Be Mobile Africa is now offered in thirty different African nations, and the company has ambitions to enter other markets.
