Share

The South African IT giant Reunert Group’s solutions and systems provider, +OneX, said it would buy MMC, a cybersecurity and managed services company. The deal did not say how much it would cost.

With the purchase of MMC, +OneX can offer its cloud and digital transformation clients Compliance as a Service (CaaS) and cybersecurity options.

MMC is a Microsoft Solutions Partner that has been around since 1991. It offers business-critical IT-managed services, focusing on safety and information security.

MMC has a team of Microsoft experts who help companies defend and protect their data and people from the constant threat of cyberattacks. The company also offers data privacy and compliance services, which help companies figure out if they are meeting legal requirements and keep track of that.

By using MMC’s platforms and skills, +OneX will be able to grow its cybersecurity section thanks to the acquisition. Adam Whittington, the Managing Director of MMC, will be in charge of +OneX Security & Services, which focuses on people, processes, and technology to provide cybersecurity services from the device to the cloud.
