Exclusive Networks Africa, a cybersecurity specialist, has reached a significant milestone in its market development journey in Africa, highlighted by the official opening of its new office in Lagos, Nigeria. This achievement reflects the company’s steadfast commitment to investing in the region and bolstering its presence in West Africa, as affirmed by Anton Jacobsz, Managing Director of Exclusive Networks Africa.

The opening of our new Nigerian office signifies more than just establishing a physical presence in the country; it symbolizes our commitment and investment in Nigeria and the broader West Africa region. With over a decade of operations in this region, this development is a strategic move to better serve the local market and provide enhanced support to our vendors and channel partners,” he says.

The timing of Exclusive Networks Africa’s expansion aligns with the Nigerian government’s recent announcement of a levy on domestic transfers to fund cybersecurity initiatives, underscoring the growing focus on cybersecurity in the region and across Africa as a whole.

“The global cost of cybercrime is projected to reach $23.82 trillion by 2027, according to Statista, and Africa is increasingly being targeted by cybercriminals. Threats such as ransomware and distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks will continue to affect the continent, reinforcing the need for local organizations to ensure they have proper protection measures in place.”

East and West Africa footprint

The new Nigerian premises reinforce Exclusive Networks Africa’s well-established presence across the continent, covering East and West Africa, the Southern African Development Community (SADC), and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Exclusive Networks Africa’s expansion into Nigeria highlights its ongoing success throughout the continent and reaffirms its mission to be the preferred value-added distributor in Africa. This move reflects the company’s dedication to fostering growth, security, and prosperity in the region.

“We are excited about the opportunities that Nigeria presents and look forward to working closely with our partners to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to businesses across the region,” says Jacobsz.

With the inauguration of its new office in Lagos, Exclusive Networks Africa is poised to enhance its status as a leading provider of cybersecurity and cloud solutions in Africa. This expansion empowers businesses to navigate the ever-changing threat landscape and thrive in the digital era.
