UAC Nigeria has unveiled the 1879 Tech Hub, a groundbreaking initiative designed to drive digital innovation and integrate technology into the heart of African businesses.
The hub, named after UAC’s founding year, reflects the company’s dedication to harnessing technology as a catalyst for growth and sustainability.
Fola Aiyesimoju, Group Managing Director of UAC Nigeria, highlighted that the initiative aligns with two of the company’s core values: people and technology.

Aiyesimoju explained that the 1879 Tech Hub is powered by a team of subject matter experts dedicated to embedding advanced digital solutions into business operations, improving customer experiences, and driving cultural transformation within the organization.
David Dogeni, Chief Technology Officer and Head of the Hub, revealed that the 1879 Tech Hub aims to empower African businesses to become digital natives, with technology serving as the foundation of their operations.
