Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia P.L.C., the second telecom provider in Ethiopia, has officially launched its 4G network services in Gambella and the surrounding areas. The launch event was graced by the presence of Gambella Region Chief Administrator, Ms. Alemitu Umod, who highlighted the significant impact that enhanced telecommunications infrastructure could have on the region’s social and economic progress.
