Nigeria and Ghana Startups Shine At the 6th Digital African Conference

The hosting of the 6th digital African conference that is known as Africa’s tech Renaissance was successful. Top tech players and dignitaries well attended the event. The third day started with a digital altercation. It featured tech startups from Nigeria and around Africa to showcase their ideas.  The Network of Incubators and Innovators in Nigeria (NINE) dominated the whole day. There was a round of participation from every startup. After that Nigerian based startup Hubs dot ng and Ghanaian based farmCap emerged the winners of the 2018 Digital Africa startups showcasing.

Apart from the price, the two were awarded a mentorship courtesy of Digital Africa Consult. The mentorship is to take place for one year. Hubs dot ng is also referred to as to digital Nigeria. The startup offered more than 70% solutions to the challenges raised by the judges. Furthermore, the startup is developing a digital ecosystem with the inspiration of the services from natural ecosystem. It is, therefore, looking forward to offering tech tools and services that will support the development and improve the living standards.

On the other hand, Farmcap is a Ghanaian based AgriTech company. It provides farmers with lands, inputs, funds and various devices to manage productivity in the agricultural sector in a better way. Many people are looking forward to the coming Digital Africa Conference. This is because it promises to come up with the best innovative ideas and also results from the 2018 digital face-off winners.
