2018 RiseUp Summit; Held in Egypt from December 7 – 9

TechInAfrica – The Sixth annual event of RiseUp Summit has just started in Egypt today and will end on December 9. The three-day event will be attended by stakeholders, executives, and hundreds of startups from the Middle East and North Africa, including Minister of Tourism, Minister of Social Solidarity, the representatives from Facebook, IBM, Microsoft, Uber, Pepsico Vodafone, and many other more.

The event will be focusing on the real-world challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the region and finding solutions through panel discussions. Meanwhile, this year’s keynote speakers will feature regional and global figures from entrepreneurship ecosystem, such as Jack Ma, Alibaba; Jason Pau, Chief of Staff; Bart van Der Vel, Facebook’s Head of Luxury; Ryno Rijnsburger, Microsoft 4Africa.

Abdelhameed Sharara, the CEO and Co-Founder of RiseUp said, “Last year we focused on innovation for the human experience.
