TechInAfrica – A Kenya-based startup that provides a mobile financing platform for African smallholder farmers, CapAGRI, has been selected to join in æternity Venture’s Starfleet Accelerate Program together with other blockchain startups from around the world.
The blockchain startup offers smallholder farmers with more affordable and lower interest rates on cash advances and farm input loans based on agricultural produce they have supplied, as well as accounts payable.
Besides CapAGRI, there are the other thirteen startups invited to join the Starfleet Accelerator Program that takes place in Sofia, Bulgaria during the Genesis Week. They will participate in be mentored in the areas of business models, token economies, æternity apps architecture, blockchain infrastructure and tooling, pitching to investors, and media relations from experts.

The 14 selected teams will present their projects to investors, thought leaders, media, and the global community of æternity. Moreover, they will also have a chance to receive a capital fund of nearly $100,000 in AE tokens.
