TechInAfrica – A new collaborative program conducted by Oracle Global Startup Ecosystem and the Ghanaian Government—the Ghana-Oracle Digital Enterprise Program—is launched to support tech-enabled entrepreneurs and startups in Ghana.
There will be about 500 Ghanaian startups supported by the Oracle Global Startup Ecosystem. They will get access to Oracle Cloud technology, mentoring, a series of workshops, business enablement, as well as support resources. B2B and B2C startups of all sizes and stages are encouraged to join the Oracle’s program.
Jason Williamson, Vice President of Oracle Global Startup Ecosystem said: “The technology and business ingenuity coming out of Africa is exciting and inspiring. Collaborating with government and President Akufo-Addo is an excellent way to provide immediate impact and support for hundreds of innovators across the country of Ghana as we look to expand our commitment to more entrepreneurs and startups in Africa.”

The startup ecosystem will enhance the growth of our budding technology sector and should spur a wave of innovative ideas from entrepreneurs that will provide solutions to local and global challenges and provide digital jobs for the ever-increasing young population,” said Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana.
Oracle Global Startup Ecosystem is a program proposed for worldwide innovators and entrepreneurs. It specializes in supporting tech startups in terms of providing required skills so that they can grow and gain success. By far, worldwide startups have benefited from the program as it provides what they need in order to strive for success.

As for the Ghana-Oracle Digital Enterprise Program, it is a part of the Oracle Global Startup Ecosystem’s commitment to support worldwide startups. The event will start off with an event in the early of April. All startups across Ghana are encouraged to apply for the program.
