The company has decided that Alphonzo Samuels as a non-executive director is effective from 1 January 2021, as well as Hemmanth (Herman) Singh as an independent non-executive director that will start his task from 25 September 2020.
The decision comes after the telco informed that Santie Botha and Khanyisile Kweyama, both independent non-executive directors, have decided to retire. These two directors will not be able to work from 25 September 2020 and 31 December 2020 respectively.
Samuels holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from UNISA and is supposed to be a prepared leader with over 35 years’ involvement in the media communications industry. He additionally finished an Executive Development Program and a Program for Enterprise Leadership.
