TechInAfrica – A big global podcasting company, Acast, has acquired a South African technology firm, Pippa. Pippa provides a space for podcasters to host their podcasts and share it to relevant outlets. Additionally, it also provides analytics about the performance of their podcasts and put an advertisement in their contents.
The acquisition of Pippa seen by the company as necessary and important as Acast’s reputation as the global premier podcast company is well deserved. Moreover, the company said that by joining Acast, they will continue to craft the future of podcasting.

Acast was founded in 2014 and has become a fully integrated and fast-growing podcast marketplace in the world. It has a platform to podcasters to host their podcast contents and monetize them through advertisement.
