Kudobuzz is a Ghanaian based startup.  The startup provides marketing and reviewing solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It also assists businesses to develop verifiable reviews, drive traffic and increase sales. The startup has bought AdGeek which is also a Ghanaian based startup. AdGeek will merge into Kudobuzz together with its founding group.

AdGeek is an online platform used by entrepreneurs to get new customers and target new markets. The merging will help Kudobuzz users to operate ad campaigns with their product reviews easily. Many Kudobuzz customers had requested for the addition of the feature to the startup. Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) is an institution based in Accra. The school is where the idea of coming up with both AdGreek and Kudobuzz developed.

The chief advisor to the AdGreek was the Kudobuzz chief executive officer (CEO) Kena Amoah. During Amoah’s time, the relationship grew stronger leading to the merger. AdGeek will function as a tool in the Kudobuzz line of products. Core features will be placed into the Kudobuzz Social Reviews app soon. The AdGeek founding team will join Kudobuzz under the term of acquisition category. The rest details of the deal remained confidential.

Thi is one of the good moves in the African startup’s scene. The African tech entrepreneurship sector is in its prime stage. The only need is people who will give it the right funding with the best mentorship. The scene has assured job security to many young entrepreneurs. Those with an idea of starting a business no longer fears of difficulties to run the businesses. The tech innovations have helped to expose the entrepreneurs to the outside world. Entrepreneurs are therefore able to get seed funding to manage and run their businesses.

Entrepreneurs must work out on ways of maintaining their customers. The need has led to many partnerships which have led to better operations of the businesses. Customer’s interest has always been the priority for any business that needs to prosper.
