The Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) will take place in Cape Town. The Annual event will kick off on ninth of November this year. The main goal of AWIEF is to empower African women and girls.

The annual event will gather together women from different capacities. Some of these disciplines include international organizations, business, NGOs, and technology & innovation. The program will take the form of panel discussions and workshops. The awards will constitute of eight categories. They include young entrepreneur, life achievers, and tech entrepreneurs. Other categories are social entrepreneur, creative industry, empowerment, Global brand and agricultural award.
