African Agrifood Startups Invited to Compete for $1 Million in THRIVE Global Impact Challenge

The THRIVE Global Impact Challenge is inviting applications from African agrifood startups for a chance to win a $1 million prize.

The goal of the challenge is to help fund the transition towards a net-zero agricultural future.

The THRIVE Global Impact Challenge is a global initiative aimed at identifying the most innovative enterprises working to create a more sustainable future for agriculture.

The Global Impact Challenge focuses on five primary themes, each essential for the transition to a net-zero future for agriculture, in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

The THRIVE Global Impact Summit will host the announcement of the overall winner after the finalists from each theme advance to the finals and submit their pitches.

The winning company will receive the THRIVE Global Impact Challenge Award, along with the following benefits:

– A place in THRIVE’s award-winning Global Accelerator Programme

– Investment from SVG Ventures up to USD 1 million

– The opportunity to pitch live at the THRIVE Global Impact Summit in Silicon Valley

– Two complimentary tickets to attend the THRIVE Global Impact Summit and pre-summit networking reception

Finalists will present their innovative solutions to investors, government officials, and industry leaders on November 7.
