African startups are invited to compete in the global She Loves Tech competition

It has been announced that the eighth version of the global She Loves Tech competition is now accepting applications, and women-led and women-focused technology companies are being encouraged to participate.

She Loves Tech is an international network founded in 2015 to close the financial gap between male and female business owners. By identifying and accelerating the most innovative entrepreneurs and technologies for transformative effect, the platform intends to free up over one billion dollars in funding for businesses that women lead by the year 2030.

More than US$500,000 worth of prizes are up for grabs, including mentorship from prominent investors and tech influencers, fast-track access to programs, resources, and in-house advisory services, and access to a global community of founders and investors. 

Additional rewards include a total of up to one hundred thousand dollars in direct investment from the She Loves Tech Fund, as well as fifteen thousand dollars from Teja Ventures and ten thousand dollars from ADB Ventures.

Applications for African startup companies can be submitted online till the 12th of September.
