Air Connect provides dependable connectivity throughout diverse South African landscapes, including remote areas and challenging terrain, by harnessing radio waves. This wireless solution eliminates the costs and logistical hurdles associated with wired connections such as fiber, offering adaptable speeds ranging from 5Mbps to 500Mbps+ to accommodate a wide range of business requirements.
Marisa Trisolino, CEO at CMC Networks, expressed great enthusiasm for Air Connect, describing it as a significant innovation for their customers in South Africa. With a service level objective (SLO) ranging from 3 to 10 days, Air Connect offers swift installation, catering to customers anticipating a fiber build. It serves as a rapid temporary deployment to minimize network downtime and can serve as an active backup following fiber rollouts in a software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) overlay deployment. This enhances network resilience, redundancy, and uptime.
