TechInAfrica – Airtel Nigeria, a telecommunication services provider announced a launch of 4G LTE service in Delta State where it covers big cities and towns like Agbor, Asaba, Effurun, Kwale, Okpanam, Sapele, Ughelli, and Wari. The announcement took place at 74 Warri/Sapele Road, Effurun.
The announcement was witnessed by residents and onlookers. They seemed extremely excited about the launch of 4G services in Delta State. They even praised and gave their support to Airtel Nigeria for the decision they have made.
The Vice Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government, Akpodubakaye Arthur says the installation of 4G service is not only helpful for the economic acceleration and commercial activities but also increasing professional productivity, students, as well as traders in the region. Moreover, the local government says that he praises Airtel for its decision to launch 4G service to connect Warri and other big cities and towns in Delta. It is an open door for a development in the country that will transform many lives.
The Regional Operations Director of Airtel Nigeria, Oladapo Dosunmu also speaks about the launch. He says that Airtel is sure that delivering 4G experience is the main step to actualize its aim to make life simpler and better for Nigerians.
He also explains that process of how customers can connect to Airtel 4G network. The process is quite simple, the customers need to upgrade their SIM card to a 4G SIM. The upgrade process is easy where it only takes no more than two minutes.
The upgrade process is needed to enable customers to access 4G services. The simple process is nothing compared to the experience customers will have, including seamless and super-fast mobile Internet services on the Airtel network.
The existing, as well as new users, are able to visit Airtel showroom at any location to turn their service to the 4G service. The launch of Airtel 4G services is not only in Delta, but also in other states such as Oyo, Abuja, and Anambra.
