Airtel Network Zambia PLC is out to make customers happy. The company has just launched a self-care application, which will serve as a one-stop-shop. It also introduced a Community Champion Program.
The app will give customers easy access to the company’s products and services. These include Airtel Money, Me2U, and SoChe. Customers can also buy data bundles without using any code. However, for the Community Champion Program, customers who purchase airtime for family and friends will earn some extra cashback, which will be converted to airtime. This is done via Airtel money wallets on the self-care application, or you can dial the *778# code to purchase the airtime and get 5% airtime back immediately.
Hussam Baday, Managing Director Airtel Zambia, while speaking about the company’s newly launched app and community program, said Airtel is fully focused on leading the way in innovation and believes the community program introduced will have a massive impact on its customers as the COVID-19 pandemic lingers.
Hussam also continued by saying, “We encourage the use of cashless solutions like a bank to wallet, as we strive to #BeSmart and #BeSafe during these challenging times. However, to access the 5% instant cashback, which is converted to airtime, customers have to buy airtime for others via the Airtel Money Wallet. Once the bonus airtime is accumulated, customers can choose to re-sell using the Me 2U option or dialing the code *432#.
The My Airtel App is also available on Google Play Store for Android devices or the App Store for iOS devices. Once you download and install, you will be asked to confirm your country, incorporate your mobile number and confirm the pin sent to your mobile number via SMS.
