TechInAfrica – Good news for South Africans who love Apple as the company will launch the new iPhone 12 series on December 18. This statement is following Cellucity after the company posted a mysterious tweet with the date and a series of ‘apple’ emojis.
The series of iPhone 12 includes these devices, iPhone 12 5G, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The smartphone that receives much attention is the iPhone 12 series since it will be the first of Apple’s products that will support the 5G connectivity.
Apple iPhone 12
For those who are familiar with this product, the iPhone 12 looks like iPhone 4 and 5 because of its sharp edges. The device, which displays at 6.1 inches, comes with a “Ceramic Shield” glass cover and sports two rear cameras (both support night mode). At retailers, it is estimated that the price will be around $829.
Apple iPhone 12 mini
Apple presents a new, smaller iPhone that occupies a 5.4-inch screen and otherwise has the same specs as the flagship iPhone 12, known as the iPhone 12 mini. This device will be available on 13 November for $729.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max
Apple also introduced the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max to round off the iPhone launch event,
The iPhone 12 Pro is also a 6.1-inch device which occupies a triple camera array with 12-megapixel wide, telephoto, and ultrawide camera lenses. It will be available for $999.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max sports the wide screen on any iPhone at 6.7 inches. A triple camera array on the back that offers a 5X optical zoom range is also featured in this new device as well as the LIDAR sensor for improved AR apps and faster autofocus. It will be available for $1,099.
