TechInAfrica – Telkom is in a way that numerous customers may acknowledge as it actualizes more digital services into its item offering.

Lately, Telkom introduced its free streaming service, TelkomONE, however, today, the firm brings Apple clients into the overlap also.

Starting today, Telkom customers can initiate carrier billing for Apple membership administrations. These services include Store buys, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud.

While Apple’s packaged membership service Apple One isn’t accessible yet in South Africa, and there is no information on whether it will exist in South Africa, it is expected that Telkom provides the service.

For those who currently use an Apple device and are on the Telkom network, this is how they can activate the carrier billing.

Head to the relevant app on iPhone, iPad, or Mac and select Mobile Phone as a payment method. The configuration should happen automatically.

This feature is available for all Telkom customers in South Africa despite whether they are postpaid or prepaid customers.

Telkom also provides Google Pay Store billing for anyone who uses Android. It implies that if customers are paying for memberships, such as YouTube Music through the Play Store, they can send that charge to their mobile number.
