MEST Africa has made it official that applications are now being accepted for the 2022 MEST Africa Challenge, and they are already taking applications.
It is highly recommended that pre-seed-to-seed stage technology startups from Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, Kenya, and Nigeria apply to compete in the regional competitions that will be held in these countries in October of this year. These competitions will take place in these countries.
The MEST Africa Challenge, which is the top pitch event for technology enterprises on the African continent that are trying to advance in their growth, is organized and hosted by MEST Africa, a pan-African training program, incubator, hub, and seed fund. It is the continent’s premier pitch event for technology businesses aiming to advance in their growth.
Technology startups have the opportunity to use the challenge as a platform to raise capital, create industry networks, and get visibility on a worldwide scale, all of which will assist them in developing and growing their businesses.
Since the beginning of the competition, hundreds of applications have been sent in from different countries across the continent. It has highlighted and been a factor in the growth of successful businesses such as Ghana’s OZE, Tanzania’s Kilimo Fresh, South Africa’s Snode Technologies, Nigeria’s Account, and Kenya’s Waya Waya,
From each country, two finalists will be chosen to compete for the grand prize of $50,000 in equity at the final Demo Day Pitch event, which will be held in Accra, Ghana.
The deadline for submission of applications is the 30th of August 2022.
