Applications are being accepted for the 9th round of the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme .The program gives US$5,000 in funding and training to startups.
The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), which runs the program, has set aside US$100 million to help mentor, train, and fund 10,000 African entrepreneurs by 2024.
For this 9th edition, successful applicants will also gain access to the TEF network of startups.
Since it started, the program has helped more than 15,000 African entrepreneurs by connecting them with high-profile people in the private and public sectors, investors, and advocates who have helped them grow their businesses and expand their opportunities.
The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), Africa’s leading philanthropic initiative dedicated to developing young African entrepreneurs, has announced the availability of applications through its TEFConnect digital portal.
The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme is open to African entrepreneurs with business ideas or companies less than 5 years old. Those who want to apply must be 18 or older.
