TechInAfrica – The Africa Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) is scheduled to host its Growth Accelerator Program in South Africa. The program is sponsored by Nedbank and currently calling for application for female business owners in multi-sectors to partake in the program. It will be opened until May 13th, 2019.
Among all applicants, 25 of them will be selected for a three-month program aims at supporting female participants with business modeling and growth strategy. These tools will help them to scale their businesses, make them become investment ready, and develop entrepreneurship skills.
The AWIEF Growth Accelerator Program will cover:
- Financial modeling
- Growth strategy
- Pitch training
- Financing for scale
- Target market, competitive landscape, and value proposition
- Design framework thinking
- Access to finance
- Access to markets
Among those 25 entrepreneurs, eight of them will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses in front of an audience that consists of business leaders, decision-makers, and investors at the Pitch n GrowTM session of the 5th Annual AWIEF Conference, Exhibitions, and Awards held on October 29 – 30, 2019 at Cape Town International Convention Center, Cape Town.
For those who are interested in applying for the program, your business must be:
- In a post-revenue phase
- Potential for scale and innovative ventures
- Operated not less than three years
- Led or owned by committed women entrepreneurs, and
- Seeking out for investment/funding for growth
