Balloon Ventures lands grant through the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment

Balloon Ventures has received a grant award through the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE) which is administered by Palladium and supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The grant will support 78 small businesses across Eastern Uganda creating 936 new ad improved jobs primarily among the youth and women groups. Balloon Ventures is eager to partner with CFYE and contribute to their effort of nurturing 200,000 young me and women across the Middle East, Sahel, West Africa, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa.

The project will receive support from the  Argidius Foundation, Global Innovation Fund, UK Aid, IDEO.ORG, and  Citi Foundation. Balloon Ventures aims to establish a scalable and sustainable business model that fosters local businesses and creates good jobs.
