Banking Transactions Simplified By Leo UBA Chart Bank

United Bank for Africa (UBA) is a Pan-African banking institution. The bank has changed the outlook of e-banking by launching Leo, a UBA’s Chat Banker. Leo UBA’s Chart Banker allows customers to use their social media accounts in carrying out various banking transactions. The launch took place on 11th January 2018 in Lagos Nigeria. Customers were shown how they could carry out transactions through Facebook Messenger platform.

UBA is the first bank in Africa to start such a platform. This will simplify the customer’s way of carrying out transactions. At times people need quick transactions for emergencies at times. People can open accounts, receive notifications, and top up airtime using the app. People can also transfer funds and check their balances.  One is also able to apply for loans, pay bills, and confirm cheques amongst various items.

The launch shows how the bank values the customer’s interest. The bank has been working on ways of easing transactions for its customers.  Making the customer’s transactions safe is on top of their agenda. The changes are made in consideration to what the customer wants, when and where they want it to be. The bank refers to it as 1st philosophy, and it is now consistent.

The bank is working with qualified technology experts to ensure qualified services. With the bank that commands more than a million customers, must give the best to its customers. The Facebook Messenger transaction method is partnership initiative between Facebook and UBA Bank. Plans are there to develop the app in other social media networks.

Leo offers immediate feedback once transactions have taken place. The solution is easy to use by anyone once they have a Facebook account. The app will be able to settle down any concerns raised by the customers. Leo can do any transaction from any form of banking services. One Time Password (OTP) offers security to the customers at any given time.
