TechInAfrica – The leading renewable energy company BTE Renewables renewed their name as of 1 June, formerly BioTherm Energy after Actis’ acquisition in 2019.

Its new logo is inspired by the sun and nature of the African horizon.

The company has recently completed four of its renewable energy projects in South Africa, in which it invested R6.5bn to connect 284MW into the country’s national grid, partnering with Thebe Investment Corporation (TIC) which has a 37.5% share in all four projects.
