The Lagos branch of the Nigerian Medical Association now has access to free on-demand mobility thanks to Bolt, the most popular ride-hailing platform in Nigeria. Bolt’s business platform provides this access.

The program is one of the many Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities that Bolt has carried out to assist organizations in promoting their purpose and goals.

The six primary medical disciplines are covered by Nigerian Medical Association, a licensed professional association for Nigerian medical professionals. The goal of the group is to improve the quality of medical treatment that is provided to Nigerians, and to do so; it works in conjunction with other organizations, both governmental and private, on specific health-related projects

Due to the cooperation with Bolt, medical professionals will have rapid and easy access to Bolt rides at a lower price, providing them with unrestricted mobility to perform their duties.

About the cooperation, Abisola Odukoya, a public policy specialist in Nigeria, made the following statement: “We are devoted to the welfare of persons who have kept us going during the apex of the pandemic”.This continues to be a top concern for us, and as a result, we are always looking for new methods to contribute to their health and happiness positively.

We recognize the significance of having access to solutions and resources for tours to make some things more comfortable, which is why our partnership with the Nigerian Medical Association is so vital to us. To continue to assist and empower our communities to build cities centered on people, we will keep carrying out the CSR activities we have set up.

Dr. Tajudeen Salau, Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association’s Lagos Chapter, expressed his delight at receiving such support. He explained that ” Bolt CSR to Nigerian Medical Association Lagos Chapter is a specially selected sort of CSR which provides doctors some comfort to execute their duties also and makes it easier for patients to receive care than it would be under the previous system.”

Bolt would remain a socially responsible platform that provides and partners with organizations that impact the community where it operates. This is in keeping with the company’s commitment to advancing civil society. Bolt will keep looking for collaborations of this kind with key stakeholders so that it can continue to have a direct and good effect on the communities and society it serves.
