Cairo Angels is the first angel investor network to open in Egypt. The fund will channel their resources into supporting early-stage startups and high-growth businesses.

The consultancy will provide special services to promising startups, such as advice, fundraising support, business model financing, detailed financial planning, strategy formulation, and drafting of strategic memos. Other services are pitch process preparation, investor outreach, delivery training, and negotiation.

The fund has a strategic partnership with Microsofts 4afrika initiative that provides consultancy services to five outstanding startups shortlisted across South Afrika, Morrocco, Kenya, Nigeria, and Pakistan.

Aly El Shalakany is the chairman of Cairo Angels. According to Disrupt Africa, the consultancy has a wide network of international partners and vast years of experience to back it up. They are actively engaged in Microsoft’s pilot programme.
