This addition, EOS C500 Mark II is the next-gen Cinema EOS System camera 5.9K internal Cinema RAW Light and 4K 4:2:2 10bit XF-AVC recording, which makes it the first system to visage an interchangeable lens-mount for EF Cinema Lock and capable of recording 5.9K Cinema RAW Light onto storage media.
With its multi-recording format ability, the system is an ideal choice and best-suited for professionals who aimed for top quality 4K content. It’s efficient in terms of the workflow and will fulfill your production needs. Along with the internal recording onto CFexpress cards in Canon XF-AVC format with 4K 4:2:2 10bit capabilities, the proxy recording is also available, thus user can choose within the system a recording format that suit the filming requirement and workflow adjustment.
The camera also has a stabilizing effect called Electronic Image Stabilization in a Cinema EOS System, making it the first camera to provide the feature, enabling 5-axis Image Stabilization. With four times higher transmission compared to 3G-SDI due to its advanced 12G-SDI interface, the camera allows 4K and HDMI 50/60p output with a single cable, and when used with non communication lens, you can do a manual input of the focal length to get Electronic IS, and what’s more, it’s compatible with anamorphic lenses.
