Cyprus will host the Cleantech Entrepreneurship Bootcamp from 19th to 26 May this year. The event will be held at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation located in Nicosia. The one-week event will provide an opportunity for networking and knowledge gaining from the most successful entrepreneurs.  Participants will also attract more investors in the industry especially cleantech investors.

Proposed topics covered comprise of Entrepreneurship discipline, market research, value proposition, business model and comparative advantage. Other topics are startup valuation, financial planning, business pitch, assumption identification and testing, customer satisfaction tips among others.

This Cleantech Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is one of the special platform bringing together different stakeholders.  The camp stakeholders constitute of academicians, entrepreneurs, and investors in the field of cleantech. The camp aids in connecting these stakeholders to startups, corporate and researchers in the Middle East, Europe, North Africa and many others. Additionally, upcoming startups will have the opportunity to mingle with the global academicians from MIT and leading cleantech experts.

The facilitators during the camp will be Cody Friesen of Zero Mass Water and Elaine Chen from MIT. The event participants will learn cleantech methodology offered by Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship.  All participants are encouraged to observe the weather patterns in Cyrus as they plan to attend this life-time opportunity.
