Connected Analytics a Nigerian retail-tech/analytics startup has secured a 7 figure pre-Series A funding. The round was led by Hong Kong’s Betatron Venture Group and the exact amount remains undisclosed. Other investors who participated in the investment were Accelerex Holdings, 500 Startups, and San Francisco’s Predictive VC, among other participants.
As reported by TechpointAfrica, the company will use the round to gain quality team additions while improving its technology to effectively execute the latest strategic partnerships. Connected analytics is the company behind ThankUCash, a multi-merchant rewards platform that helps companies deepen customer loyalty while increasing revenue through data analytics and customer rewards.
ThankUCash was founded in 2018 by Simeon Ononobi, Madonna Ononobi, and Suraj Supekar. Last year, ThankUCash was the only African startup to qualify for the 26th batch of 500 Startups run by US-based accelerators, where it received $150k in pre-seed funding.
