Cortex Logic Appoints a New CEO

TechInPacific – Cortex Logic, an African Artificial Intelligence (AI) Software and Solutions company has named their new CEO as well as Board Member of the Cortex Group. The new CEO is Deon van Heerden, a tech executive and entrepreneur who will lead the company for their next step of expansion.

Van Heerden previous experiences were serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Clickatell Group—a global customer engagement company headquartered in California—and as Chief Executive Officer at the Clickatell Engage Business Unit.

Since 2011, Van Heerden has also served on the Clickatell Board of Directors where he spent his time in Silicon Valley and other areas like the UK and Europe, India, Nigeria, and other parts of Africa for the expansion efforts of Clickatell.

Van Heerden commented on his appointment as the new CEO at Cortex Logic: “I’m excited to join Cortex Logic at this pivotal point in its history.
