Egyptian educational technology startup, Edura, has successfully completed an undisclosed pre-seed funding round led by Smart Zone Startups Studio and backed by angel investors. The funding will play a pivotal role in Edura’s mission to transform education by fostering connections between teachers and students through interactive lessons, offering a unique blend of traditional and modern learning approaches.

Founded in 2021 by visionary entrepreneur Osama Abdelwahed, Edura has rapidly gained recognition as an innovative educational platform. It facilitates dynamic interactions between educators and learners through live or recorded interactive lessons, accompanied by cutting-edge features such as online assessments and recorded student evaluations.

What sets Edura apart in the competitive Edtech arena is its unwavering commitment to safeguarding the intellectual property of educators while delivering an exceptional learning experience. The platform caters to a wide spectrum of educational levels, boasting an impressive user base of over 190,000 students and hosting more than 10,000 events, exams, and activities.
