Egypt and MENA region food delivery and e-commerce platform, Talabat, has carried out a digital awareness Covid-19 vaccination campaign with UNICEF over the past two months of 2021.
The campaign allowed messages from UNICEF to be disseminated on Talabat Egypt’s communication and social media channels to extend to millions of users. Such awareness campaigns operate within the framework of the company’s commitment to support segments in society and advance government efforts in curbing the spread of Covid-19.
Talabat Egypt Managing Director Hadeer Shalaby said that the company is looking to encourage users countrywide to apply for the vaccine for their own safety, and that of others.
The digital awareness campaign is part of Talabat’s corporate responsibility efforts. Talabat has also created multiple initiatives that raise awareness and funding for regional humanitarian needs in Palestine, India, Lebanon, etc.
