Egypt home services provider FilKhedma raises an undisclosed seed round from The Cairo Angels

FilKhedma, a Cairo-based home services provider has raised an undisclosed investment round from The Cairo Angels. The investment was led by a global network of angel investors The Cairo Angels fixated on supporting startup opportunities across Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa.

FilKhedma was founded by Omar Ramadan in 2014 and links technicians with customers looking for carpentry, plumbing, electrification, and painting services. As reported by Wamda, Omar said the investment will help the company develop its home cleaning and beauty services.

This is the company’s fourth round after attracting previous investments from Algebra Ventures, Glint Ventures (the VC arm of Glint Media), and early-stage angel investment fund KiAngel. The startup connects businesses to maintenance service providers such as tradesmen in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, maintenance, and air conditioning.
