Egypt’s smart metering and IoT startup Amjaad Technology raises 6-figure funding round

Cairo-based Amjaad Technology completed 6-figure funding round from Dhaman Bahraini company. This investment is part of their Pre-Series A round.

Amjaad is an innovative company that provides energy management solutions and IoT systems management. Smart metering is provided of clients in both commercial and industrial sectors – helping them save in the long run.

The startup launched its meter system in 2018 offering an online platform and energy management mobile app, where users rely on the mobile app to pay their bills in a safe manner. Engineer Hussein Darwish is Amjaad’s founder and CEO.

The company plans to use the funds raised to develop more features and add payment facilities to their ioMeter system, which in turn adds water and gas meters.
